Combining the beautiful art of my wife and lifelong collaborator Ren Melisi Ellis with poetry and prose to address the concerns of trees worldwide. This illustrated publication brings to light the love for nature we both have, along with our ardent desire for greater awareness about the crisis these ancient wonders face.
By adding character into the form and texture of redwood, aspen, birch, and many other species, we hope to open the perspectives of people to see these vital spires as living beings endowed with the same rights to live as anything else.
