De La Salle Fundraising Signs
Graphics & Structural Design, Electrical Engineering
In mid-2015 I was tasked with designing and building temporary signage that could be used at De La Salle High School in Concord, Ca. They wanted to depict the fundraising goals they aspired toward for the building of several new resources centers over the course of the year.
Using the architectural concept drawings for the new development and photography supplied by the school I generated several mock-ups until the client decided on these thermometer styled displays. I oversaw the print production while assembling the structures, installing the electrical (two 18v DC converters powering 72 LEDs), and engineering the frame to hold them on the roof of the school’s administration building without damaging the existing structure.
I was able to bring the project in under budget and a week earlier than expected. The clients not only used the signs for the following year but they also hired our firm to create all the marketing materials associated with the project.
