Laser Cut Models
In late 2015 my wife and I took a vacation to Boston and Washington DC. While at the Air & Space Museum I discovered these Laser Cut Model kits. They fascinated me with their detail and complexity so I started building them.
Now, 175 models later, I am starting to develop my own patterns to make my own designs. My only difficulty is finding a laser with the correct specifications that I can borrow the use of. The full unit costs over $50k and has some awesome power requirements.
In the meantime, I love to bend and build these delicate and details models. It appeals to both my technical design side and my appreciation for the artistic forethought building out such models requires.
This is a small sample of my collection, more images to come.
